Three weeks - they are flying by so quickly. Kaydie has already outgrown expressions and noises... some of which weren't captured by camera. For example, she used to have this routine right before she nursed, where she'd play coy and turn up her nose to the meal laid out before her. She would roll her head back and make a tight little rosebud mouth and look down her nose at the offending breast... then, after she rolled her mouth across it a few times, she would break down and nurse like she'd never eat again...
Here is Kaydie and mommy, catching the morning sunshine in our front yard. She's going through a growth spurt and is getting a little bit vocal about it lately... but here we are peaceful, happy, and calm for a photo shoot.
The sunshine is a little bright - we'll only be out in it for a few minutes, then it is back to filtered light for Kaydie Rose's delicate skin...
Such a cute little mouth - I'm looking forward when she gives kisses back!
Her fingers - so slender and long when she was born - have filled out and look healthy. She is incredibly strong. Yesterday, we went to her pediatrician appointment, and the nurse helped to put her hand and footprints in ink in her baby book... she was too strong for three people to get a right hand print... we had to settle for the two feet and the left hand... When I looked back at my babybook, I found that I gave my mom the same challenge and there was no right hand print there either - just a note reading, "You got mad!!!"
Kaydie Rose with her pacifier -
This is the norm!!!!
She must know how perfect she is...
