Dillon Beach

It's become sort of a father's day tradition (okay we've done it twice) to go to Dillon Beach and camp out with all of Tom's family. This year might be the deal breaker for future visits...the wind blew pretty much nonstop at 50 miles per hour. Luckily we've fed Kaydie nothing but jolly ranchers and jelly beans, so she was heavy enough to not blow away in the gusts...

We were able to find one dune area where Kaydie really loved playing because of the landscape, the wind was redirected away from our eyes. She especially seem to enjoy the feeling of the sand over her hand and pouring through her fingers.

To be honest, I lost track of everybody else on this trip. People were coming and going, waiting, not waiting, I basically focused on little K and let the world keep spinning on its own.

(For those of you who were there, you'll notice that these pictures are not in order - this blog site is uploading things backwards now, and I'm not used to it, nor am I patient enough to move each one... so just be happy they're up, ok?)

Playing in the car on the way home. Kaydie is very imaginative these days!

Terrorizing Gabe's dreams!

Getting tired, it's past ten thirty at night and she's STILL AWAKE!?!

Wearing all the clothes mom brought me:

Yes, those ARE socks on my hands. It was COLD!
The boys:

Cheeto Head:

Grandpa Zetus came to celebrate Father's Day too!
Kaydie has Todd tied around her little finger:

HELLO DOWN THERE:

Little K LOVES cheetos...
Cheese!
Playing by herself with the monopoly game in the tent.
(No, she never ate any of the game pieces.)
She is farrrr too smart for that. She's the banker (like her mama was!) Look at those windburned cheeks.... We snuggled lots at night.

Here she is getting into the sand:

ooooooh!

So neato!

someone put this kid to BED!

Wind kicked up some sand and Little K is not happy.

The wind was totally blowing her over:

A little perturbed...

But she dealt with it so well!

Little grin:
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
